Provide the learner with theoretical and practical knowledge to safely operate the CFM56-7 engines on the Boeing 737-600/700/800/900.

Target Group

  • B1 Aircraft Licensed Engineers who will be required to carry out Engine operation for maintenance reasons.
  • Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance Companies who require their staff to operate engines for testing and maintenance purposes.

Recommended Minimum Requirements

Have attained or In the process of attaining type rating on the AML.

Exam

Practical Assessment during the Simulator session.

Certificate

Certificate issued by Atlantic Aviation.

Course Objectives

Provide the learner with theoretical and practical knowledge to safely operate the CFM56-7 engines on the Boeing 737-600/700/800/900.

Course Content

Detailed training material on Boeing 737 NG engine operation. Discussion on best practices for the flight deck operations. 4 Hour Simulator session with simulated engine failures such as Fire warnings etc.

Provides the attendee with hands on experience in performing engine running. Having the training completed also gives the B1 Aircraft Licensed Engineer extra skill set not all maintenance personnel have.
